The original course was provided in the South Island and was revised in late 2016. Kaitiaki Ahurea offers a program to improve public health and health promotion knowledge and leadership skills of the health workforce who are working with Māori communities.

Wānanga

This course is offered to non Māori and Māori workforces in the South Island who work in public health, health promotion and communities with a specific interest in enhancing Māori health outcomes. Registration is free for the 2 Day wānanga and details are as follows:
